Friday, 13^th of January

7 pm - 9 pm:

- Display of the book: SKIN

„Gezogen von meinem sehnsuechtigen Verlangen, begierig, die grosse Fuelle der verschiedenen und seltsamen Formen der kunstreichen Natur zu schauen,

gelangte ich, nachdem ich eine Weile zwischen dunklen Felsen herumgegangen war, an den Eingang einer Hoehle,

vor der ich eine Zeitlang in Erstaunen und Ungewissheit verharrte;

mit gebogenem Ruecken, die Linke auf das Knie gestuetzt, mit der Rechten die gesenkten und zugekniffenen Lider beschattend,

beugte ich mich immer wieder hierhin und dorthin, um zu sehen, ob sich im Inneren etwas unterscheiden lasse,

was mir durch das darin herrschende tiefe Dunkel verwehrt wurde.

Nachdem ich eine Weile so ausgeharrt hatte, erwachten auf einmal zwei regungen in mir, Angst und Verlangen:

Angst vor der drohenden finsteren Hoehle, und Verlangen zu sehen,

ob darin etwas Wunderbares sei.“

performance:

Hatry cut the skin from a pig, washed the skin, dryed the skin, cut the skin in a certain shape and placed it on wood

Saturday, the 14^th of January

11am – 6pm

Exhibition:

Paintings, photographs, sculptures of preserved skin, slaughter video

Performance:

Hatry stapled the pigskin on wood (skin from 192 pigs, in 12 hours with 20.000 staples)

Sunday, the 15^th of January

3pm - 6pm

Drinks, suckling pig

"Performance":

Visitors could go barefoot into the fresh pigskin room

touch it, smell it and listen to the quite songs of Eva Lebherz Valentin
